LaDonna and I found a first-winter LITTLE GULL on Lake Conway, just south of the HWY 89 bridge, east of Mayflower. It was in with a very large group of Bonaparte's Gulls, including several dozen first-winter birds. The Little Gull has a dark cap and a very broad black 'M' on the back, much darker and wider than any Bonaparte's.
