LaDonna and I had 4 Sanderlings today at Treadway's. They were in a drained pond due east of the hatchery. Just beyond that pond, near the very old house, are hundreds, if not thousands of swallows. Most are Tree and Bank, but we did see Barn, Cliff and Rough-winged.

Lots of shorebirds here this afternoon and, amazingly, 5 Fulvous Whistling-Ducks. They are flying about the farm, not staying in one place long.

Still lotsa shorebirds at Treadways this morning including 5 handsome Black-bellied Plovers and a juvenile Least Tern. One Fulvous Whistling-Duck continues as well. LaDonna took several photos with her camera and I took a few with my phone through the scope. One of the better ones below. Kenny
