Saturday May 25, 2013, 8 AM. Meet members and friends of Northwest Arkansas Audubon Society at Craig State Fish Hatchery in Centerton. The hatchery has been designated an Important Bird Area by Audubon Arkansas. Numerous shorebird species are headed north at this time of year and many stop on mudflats provided by drained fish ponds. Meet in the parking lot at the hatchery at 8 AM. Most folks will be on foot, but those with mobility impairments are welcome to drive along with the group. Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a member or a skilled birder to participate. If you come late, just look for us at the hatchery.
