The Xerces Society has put out a new online publication on milkweeds for the Central U.S. which includes our area. It offers sources for seeds and is aimed at land managers but might also be helpful to home gardeners.

Milkweeds are very attractive to much more than Monarchs. This year
our butterflyweeds (A. tuberosa) and Common Milkweeds (A.syriaca) and
Perennial Milkweed (A.perennis) have been pretty lonely. We had not one
single Monarch caterpillar on them.The Milkweed Tussock moths are here though.
