Yesterday morning while hiking the Okay Levee, Millwood Lake, Howard County, I chanced upon a Banded Pennant that had just been taken down by a robber fly. It represented the 45th species of dragonfly to be recorded along the levee. Further information (including 2 photos) may be found on OdonataCentral.com

We ran the Marshall BBS route yesterday and picked up a couple of life dragons -Ozark Clubtail and Orange Shadowdragon. You can see pix at my pbase site.

Found a female Banded Pennant in our yard yesterday. It didn't look too good. With all the martins we have, it's a wonder we have any dragons.
